>> Miniatures to myself: #4 Vulcano Song

Dear friends,

sudden changes will always surprise us. There’s nothing to be surprised about. Life always changes within a minute.

During the last month a lot of unexpected things happened to me. I got to see everything from a different angle. It’s a good thing summer kind of already started.

Thanks a lot to Simon Fagan on trumpet and Hannes Buder on guitar. It is great to know both of you!

I hope you enjoyed this nice and warm weekend!

>> Miniatures to myself: #3 My Roots

Dear friends,

a lot of stuff is going on. Sometimes you just need a quiet voice to tell you everything is alright.

In this case it’s the lovely flatmate choir of Locht43. Locht43 are six tough guys, living in a former  factory, who host exhibtions, concerts, parties and all kind of events.

***all my roots grow in the air*** ***it’s ok*** ***never stop*** ***it‘s your story*** ***go go go*** ***ooh girl*** ***this is not the time to think*** ***confetti compliments***

>> Miniatures to myself: #2 If you love me

Hey,

I just love it, when a day starts after a way to short night, and everything is packed with energy.

***get your suitcase and start to travel*** ***need more coffee*** ***hey*** ***you can sleep afterwards*** ***just follow me*** ***the morning is waiting for you*** ***still drunk***

>> Miniatures to myself: #1 Moment’s Victory

Dear friends,

I just love the winter, even if it is not a really cold one this year. 2012 is already a couple of days old, and a new something started to exist in my head. I’ve never kept a diary, but still there are moments that are stuck in my head. This year I decided to release one miniature to myself each month.

Eva Sterk

***high higher highest*** ***it‘s cold*** ***who are you*** ***can‘t you see the 6 up there*** ***let‘s just stay a little bit longer*** ***dark winter waterfront*** ***nothing happens because of something*** ***wow*** ***far too beautiful*** ***don’t skip this moment*** ***winter song***

Spending the morning at Rag and Bone Man.

Maybe this key belongs to room 51.

Enjoying my coffee.

Rag and Bone Man is a nice vintage store in Neukölln. Live concerts, great coffee and nice people.
You can also buy our album there.

>> It’s Kohlhaas again

Dear friends,

a bit late, but we wish all of you a good start in 2012. Be yourself for a while and things will work out one day!

Before we start with actual “Eva Sterk actions”, we would like to invite you to “Michael Kohlhaas”, a play directed by Nick Hartnagel.

An evening spent on thinking about morality. Is the use of violance the only possibility to assure justice? Discussions and examples about law and its execution, individual moral, judgement and consequences.

Together with Olaf Hollmann on clarinet, Eva and Raphael are playing the music.
Actors are Seyneb Saleh, Niclas Rohrwacher and Vincenz Türpe.

The performances are on Friday and Saturday at 8pm at the bat.

>> No Note – Official Video

Dear friends,

remember that I promised to share a special childhood memory with you? Here it is!

It comes as a video:

***stop the rain*** ***stop people thinking*** ***where is my strawhat?*** ***don’t want to miss you*** ***ugly cloud go away*** ***this is for us to have fun*** ***let’s tie our shoelaces together and dance*** ***my bicycle kind of lost me*** ***It’s my magic friend collector***

So… hugs and kisses – hopefully it put a smile on your face!

>> Thank you, girls!

Sometimes life is so much fun! We spent a lovely Sunday afternoon in the R.N.A. Studio with two amazing young ladies.

What were we doing there? It’s our little secret for a few more days…

Vera and Vicky, you were awesome! Definitly no one could have done this better than you.
Eva Sterk is very proud of you!

In the meantime you can of course order our Album “Mantric Jogging”. It will be shipped to your home in a couple of days and makes a beautiful christmas present.
